ABOUT LIBRARY:

College is a part of higher education in India. Library role is very important for student development. The student is a soul and Library is a heart of an educational institute. The progress and quality depends on these two important aspects. Our college established the library department in the year 2009. Library starts with collection of 2821 books including with text books & other reference books. At the beginning, the strength of the students was 28. From this minimum number, the library is enlarging with its readers, collection, space and staff. The library of the college holds the total 15000+ Reading Material Collection including Ayurved Books and Modern Books.

We provide MUHS Book Bank facility for economically backward and needy students and provide Samaj Kalyan Book Bank Scheme for SC students. All reading material including Books, Periodicals and Non-Print Material such as CD’s DVD etc. are included in the library database. It provides Online Public Access Catalogue facility to all readers.

LIBRARY RESOURCES:

The libraries are changing from single platform to network, the collection based system of libraries is becoming access-based, and their services are shifting around from document to information. As well as their physical access services are now in digital and towards virtual. The library has developed an excellent collection of books, journals and non-book material in Ayurveda and Modern. It also maintains separate collections of Reference Books, Bound volumes of journals, Study Room Books, Book Bank Collection, Compact Discs. The library also subscribes the online consortia of e-books, e-journals and e-databases. The total collection of library is as follows:

LIBRARY COMMITTEE:

Library committee is an advisory body nominated 07 Members. This committee plays a major role in the designing policy matters / decisions for smooth running of the Library. Quarterly meetings are held to discuss the agenda. The tenure of committee is for 3 years.
